Newbridge Memo is a true jewel in the crown of the South Wales Valleys, and our 446 seat auditorium is at the heart of this. The memo loves to welcome new shows and entertainment through its’ doors. We offer our theatre as a space for promoters to hire and are happy to work with artists and agencies on new entertainment.

The Ballroom is an extremely versatile space, complete with licensed bar and commercial grade kitchen. The ballroom has been host to band nights, dance nights and discos, through to being the perfect setting for wedding parties and large corporate events. This space is truly configurable to whatever your vision may be.

We can provide anything you need for your function from a bar, buffet and teas and coffees to a projector screen, background music or a whole events planning service up to 60 people within our cosy function room space. We can provide refreshments, lunch, flipcharts, projector and screen, pens and paper and anything else you may require.

Newbridge Memo is no stranger to the world of Film and TV. Being the backdrop for shows such as Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes with celebrity stars Matt Smith, Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman to name a few being some to walk the street of Newbridge.

Over the years there has been reports of a ghostly form seen in the cinema balcony, a usherette that does not know her job is done and many shadow forms. The Memo has hosted many paranormal investigation nights over the years for you to experience the unknown!

Housed adjacent to our magnificent Ballroom is a commercial grade kitchen, that can be used by clients for their needs during their hire of the venue. We have an incredible feature bar in the Ballroom, as well as a bar area in our Function Room.
